Practices for transparent and fair corporate governance
Code of Ethics
Samwon FA recognizes fair and transparent corporate culture as a core driver of competitiveness and established its Code of Ethics in January 2023.
The Code outlines the fundamental principles of ethical management as well as key human rights issues, and will be continuously updated in line with evolving social expectations and changing environments.
To enhance the effectiveness of this Code, Samwon FA has established a structured ethical management system and continues to advance its practices.
A Chief Ethics Officer (COO) has been appointed under the direct supervision of the CEO, while dedicated ethics managers are assigned across each business division to strengthen execution throughout the organization.
Each division regularly reports key activities and issues to the Chief Ethics Officer,
enabling the company to reinforce ethical awareness across the organization and ensure the systematic operation of its policies.
Samwon FA will continue its commitment to building a transparent and fair corporate environment.
Compliance Program (CP)
Fair Trade Internal Policies
Samwon FA operates a Compliance Program (CP) to proactively monitor adherence to fair trade laws and prevent potential violations.
The Compliance Program refers to a system of internal controls and a code of conduct designed to ensure voluntary compliance with applicable fair trade regulations.
To ensure effective implementation, the Management Support Team has been designated as the dedicated department responsible for the program.
Through systematic operation, Samwon FA aims to strengthen legal compliance and foster a fair and transparent business culture.
Four Key Elements of the Compliance Program
CP Standards, Procedures
& Implementation
Internal guidelines for fair trade compliance are established and regularly updated every two years to enhance employees’ understanding and ensure effective execution.
Education
& Training Programs
Continuous and structured training is provided for all employees, with specialized programs for roles exposed to higher risks of fair trade violations.
Sanctions
& Incentives
Clear standards for sanctions against legal violations are established and operated alongside incentive programs to encourage compliance.
Monitoring
& Evaluation
CP standards, procedures, and operations are regularly reviewed and evaluated to ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement.
Documentation of Export Control Regulations and Compliance with International Agreements
Samwon FA has been providing annual CP training for all employees since 2023.
Through model guideline training, the company reviews employees’ understanding of the CP framework and operations, while also collecting feedback to enhance its effectiveness.
In addition, advanced fair trade training is conducted for departments with higher risks of regulatory violations.
Following the training, surveys and assessments are carried out to evaluate employees’ understanding and satisfaction levels.
